The United States GENIUS Act requires stablecoin issuers like Circle to maintain full reserve backing and transparency of their holdings. That means every dollar you save in ZAR is tied to real, verifiable reserves.

Yes. You can withdraw funds from ZAR directly to your own local bank account across 70+ countries. You can even transfer funds to the account of someone else in most of the countries we support.

ZAR offers its product by leveraging partners who have the relevant regulatory/compliance coverage to service users globally. Regulations for digital assets are unfolding around the world and we maintain a commitment to make our product available in a compliant manner with local rules and follow best practices for the prevention of money laundering and terrorism financing.

ZAR follows local rules. In some countries with capital controls, your dollars may only be trade within your country. For example, in Pakistan, users cannot send their digital dollars to banks or users outside of Pakistan. However, you’ll be able to save in dollars, trade with users locally, and spend your dollars with your Visa card anywhere in the world at 150 million+ merchants.
